A low-pressure chamber simulates a high-altitude environment (air transport) by reducing the pressure outside the tested part down to as little as 50 mbar absolute (i.e. equivalent to an altitude of 70,000 feet).

The same chamber can simultaneously generate a wide range of temperatures (from -50 to +130°C).
