Volatility
Volatility tests quantity the loss of additives from a vehicle passenger cell trim material.

The test piece is placed in a standardised jig, then covered with carbon which captures, when the assembly is heated, the additives released by the material.

These tests, that are accredited by the COFRAC and approved by RENAULT, are generally coupled with fogging tests.
