<font color="#3B3B3C"> PACKAGING TEST<br>28/06/2010 <br> TEST OF RESISTANCE TO PERFORATION / DART TEST<br> Dart test aims to determine the energy required to damage by impact films and plastic sheets under the effect of a projectile in free fall under given conditions. This energy is expressed by the mass of the projectile dropped from a specified height and breaking 50% of the samples tested. Two test methods are used depending on the impact resistance of plastic sheets or films tested This test is performed according to test methods: • NFENISO 7765-1 (NF EN ISO7765-1) : Plastics films and sheeting – Determination of impact resistance by the free-falling dart method – Part 1 : Staircase method • ASTM D1709 (ASTM D 1709) : Standard Test Methods for Impact Resistance of Plastic Film by the Free-Falling Dart Method</font>
