<font color="#3B3B3C"> BURNING BEHAVIOR OF MATERIALS<br>22/03/2010 <br> GLOW WIRE TEST<br> The glow wire test is intended to assess the fire hazard of a material under the effect of heat stress that can be produced from sources of heat or glowing elements. The material under test is brought into contact under a given pressure, with a glow wire heated to high temperatures: depending on the test method, characteristics of inflammation, burning time, time of perforation are reported.
